1、托福作文写作范文详解ReadingJaneAusten(1775-1817)isoneofthemostfamousofallEnglishnovelists,andtodayhernovelsaremorepopularthanever,withseveralrecentlyadaptedasHollywoodmovies.Butwedonothavemanyrecordsofwhatshelookedlike.Foralongtime,theonlyacceptedimageofAustenwasanamateursketchofanadultAustenmadebyhersisterCa
2、ssandra.Howeverrecentlyaprofessionallypainted,full-lengthportraitofateenagegirlownedbyamemberoftheAustenfamilyhascomeupforsale.AlthoughtheprofessionalpaintingisnottitledJaneAusten,therearegoodreasonstobelievesheisthesubject.First,in1882,severaldecadesafterAustensdeath,Austensfamilygavepermissiontous
3、etheportraitasanillustrationinaneditionofherletters.Austensfamilyclearlyrecognizeditasaportraitoftheauthor.So,foroveracenturynowztheAustenfamilyitselfhasendorsedtheclaimthatthegirlintheportraitisJaneAusten.Second,thefaceintheportraitclearlyresemblestheoneinCassandrassketch,whichweknowdepictsAusten.T
