3、nfidenceattheNationalAssembly,CambodiafSstatemediaAgenceKampucheaPressereported.IntheJuly23generalelection,HunManet,sCambodianPeoplesParty,orCPP,took120of125seatsintheNationalAssemblyinalandslidevictory.HunManetsaidtheelectionresultreflectsthestrongwillandsupportofCambodianstoseethecountrybeingledto

4、wardprogressandprosperitythroughthepathofpeace,developmentandreforminallsectors.Thegovernmentwillworktoensureprotectionofpeace,stability,securityandsafety,hesaid,whilevowingtoimprovepeopleslivelihoodsandfocusondevelopment.Hesaidthenewgovernmentwillgiveattentiontosixprioritypolicyprogramsthatwillbela

5、unchedimmediately.Theseincludeexpandinghealthcareservices,providingvocationalandtechnicaltrainingforyouth,andinstitutionalizingthenationalsocialassistanceprogram.HunManet,45,succeededhis71-year-oldfatherSamdechTechoHunSen,whosteppeddownafterhavingheldthepositionformorethan38years,Xinhuareported.Itis
