5、tdeicingeasier.Thispracticehasthepotentialtobuildupresidues.Anappropriateinspectionandcleaningprogramshallbeestablished.6.2.2.1Inanticipationofweatherconditionsthatrequiredeicing,anti-icingfluidmaybeappliedtocleanaircraftsurfacespriortoaircraftbeingexposedtothefreezingprecipitation.Thiswillminimizet
6、hepossibilityofsnowandicebondingorreducetheaccumulationoffrozenprecipitationonaircraftsurfacesandfacilitatesubsequentdeicing.Priortoflighttheaircraftmustbedeiced,unlesstheintegrityofthefluidcanbeensured.DeiceinaccordancewithAppendixATableI,wheneverpossible,toreducethepotentialforresiduebuildup.Note:
7、DehydrationofTypeII,IIIandIVfluidcannegativelyimpactthefluidperformance.6.3.1.2ApplicationLimits(seeapplicabletables):Undernocircumstancesshallanaircraftthathasbeenanti-icedreceiveafurthercoatingofanti-icingfluiddirectlyontopofthecontaminatedfilm.Ifanadditionaltreatmentisrequiredbeforeflight,acomple
8、tedeicing/anti-icingshallbeperformed(seeapplicationTablesA1andA2).Ensurethatanyresiduesfromprevioustreatmentareflushedoff.Anti-icingonlyisnotpermitted.Caution:TheapplicationofTypeII,IIIandIVfluid,especiallywhenusedinaonestepprocessorinthefirststepofatwostepprocess,maycauseresiduestocollectinaerodyna
9、micallyquietareas,cavitiesandgaps.Thismaycauseflightcontrolproblems.TheapplicationofhotwaterorheatedTypeIfluidinthefirststepofatwostepprocesswillminimizetheformationofresidues.Residuesmayrehydrateandfreezeundercertaintemperature,highhumidityand/orrainconditionsandmayblockorimpedecriticalflightcontro
10、lsystems.IfaTypeII,IIIorIVfluidisusedinaonestepprocessorinthefirststepofatwostepprocess,thenanappropriateinspectionandcleaningprogramshallbeestablisheddependentontheoperatorsexperienceandfleettype.Wheneversuitable,deiceandanti-icewithonlyTypeI.Flightcontrolproblemsassociatedwithfrozenorunfrozenresid
