11、szbutwedontneedtoknowifhe/shedefaultedonaloantwentyyearsago.这句话是一个复合句嵌套加并列句的结构，两个分句间用连词and连接。在第一句的谓语动词前，有一个助动词“do”，其强调谓语的作用，使得作者的态度语气更加强烈。在前后两句话中，If都用来引导宾语从句，不再翻译成“如果”，而是翻译成“是否“，做谓语动词know的宾语。在第一个宾语从句中，wereelectingtopublicoffice前面省略that,做if引导的宾语从句中主语someone的定语，起修饰作用。另外，此句中还用到两个高级词汇shady和default形容词shady的意思是阴暗的”，引申义是”名声不好的”。动词default的意思是“拖欠，不履行“，短语defaultonloan的意思是“拖欠贷款”，这两个高级词汇都用的很准确，是举例论证更加生动。二.逻辑结构文章是正正的支持结构，结构比较简单，没有让步。文章中使用了反问的修辞手法,帮助作者强调本文观点,并使得读者深思,值得我们借鉴。
