4、renewableenergy.WevealsomadethelargestinvestmentinbasicresearchfundinginAmericanhistory-aninvestmentthatwillspurnotonlynewdiscoveriesinenergy,butbreakthroughsinscienceandtechnology.Wewillinvest$15billionayeartodeveloptechnologieslikewindpowerandsolarpower,advancedbiofuels,cleancoal,andfuel-efficient

7、tetensofthousandsofjobs,andAmericanswhodecidetopurchasethesePlug-inHybridvehiclescanclaimataxcreditofupto$7,500.Hewentontoannouncethat:TheDepartmentofEnergyisofferingupto$1.5billioningrantstoU.S.basedmanufacturerstoproducethesehighlyefficientbatteriesandtheircomponents.TheDepartmentofEnergyisofferin
