3、talhealthproblems,morals.ThiswasthekindofadvicecolumnthatEstherLedererwrote.ShewroteitunderthenameofAnnLanders.VOICETWO:MizLedererdidnotstudytobecomeanewspaperwriter.Infact,shedidnotfinishheruniversitystudiesatMorningsideCollege,inSiouxCity,Iowa.ShewasborninSiouxCityonJulyfourth,nineteeneighteen.Her

4、parentsnamedherEstherPaulineFriedman.Esthersyoungersisterwasbornafewminuteslater.Shewasgiventhesametwofirstnamesinoppositeorder-PaulineEsther.Thetwins,EppieandPopoastheywerecalled,hadtwooldersisters.Theirfather,AbrahamFriedman,hadcometotheUnitedStatesfromRussia.Hesoldchickenswhenhefirstarrived.Soon,
