7、llsuppliesisanabsoluteprerequisitewhichcanonlybeachievedandsecuredthroughthecommoneffortsofHELLAanditsSUPPLIERS.Avoidingdefectsinsteadofdiscoveringdefectsandcontinuousimprovementsintheentiresupplychain,customerinquiry,offer,order,productdevelopment,startofproduction,volumedeliveriesandfieldoperation
8、areindispensablerequirementswhichwemustandwanttofulfilwiththeactivehelpofourSUPPLIERS.ThisguidelinehighlightsHELLA,sbasicrequirementsforSUPPLIERSandalsoreferstothevalidinternationalstandards,methcJsandimplementationinstructions(e.g.,byVDA)whicharenecessarytoachievecommonobjectives.Customerrequiremen
9、tsmayexceedHELLAzsbasicrequirementsandhavetobefollowedaspartofourcustomerssatisfactionpolicy.APPLICABILITYANDDEFINITIONTheguidelineisbindingforallproductsandservicessuppliedbyaSUPPLIERtoHELLAGmbH&Co.KGaA,ortoacompanyassociatedwithHELLAwhereHELLAhasthemajorityshareandispartofFrameworkSupplyAgreementf

12、assqualityofallproductsandservices,aswellascooperativeworkandahighlevelofexpertise.Thezerodefect(s)qualityofourproducts,actionsandservices,combinedwithexpertise,innovationandinternationalism,willsecurethesatisfactionofallcustomersinthelong-term,andthusourcompetitiveness.HELLAQUALITYPOLICYThetargetis
13、zerodefectsfordeliveredqualityduringtheproductlifeandforallHELLAservices.Tosecuretheseclaimsandtoguaranteecustomersconsistentlyhighqualityineveryrespectzweplanqualitydowntothelastdetailduringthedevelopmentofproductandmanufacturingprocess,usingcarefullychosenmethods.Thisplanningprocedureiscarriedouti
14、ndependentlyofwhetherproductionislatertotakeplaceonHELLApremisesorattheSUPPLIERS,andincludesallsubstancesandmaterialsusedzofcourse.AfterSOPztheserialqualityoftheproductisassuredandcontinuallyimprovedbymeansofaccompanyingqualityobservationandcontrol.Meetingcustomerrequirementsandfulfillinginternalqua
15、litytargetshavethehighestcompanypriority.WealsoexpectthisprocedurefromourSUPPLIERS,whohavetohaveaneffective,successfulqualitymanagementsystemavailable.HELLAENVIRONMENTALPOUCYHELLAiscommittedtoprotecttheenvironment.Inordertoimplementthisenvironmentalpolicy,HELLAhashaditsplantscertifiedaccordingtoISO140011.Werequireoursupplierstomeettherelevantvalidenvironmentallegislation.Weex
